RETABLOS ENCANTADOS

Retablos encantados tells the story of Cuyo, a young sorcerer who, inspired by Ayacucho retablos, performs a ritual to enter them and expel the mischievous imps that have invaded.

My contribution

​As game producer, I led the team throughout the jam, holding daily meetings to track progress, managing risks caused by some members’ external responsibilities, and using Miro to set daily milestones, which helped us stay organized without being too rigid.

​​​

As game designer, I structured the core player experience, defining the scope and prioritizing key mechanics to maximize value from the outset within the given timeframe, while also contributing to enemy design and the development of the Game Design Document.

As UI/UX designer and artist, I managed screen navigation and ensured the display of essential player information, while also contributing to the creation of button graphics in Figma and selecting the color palette, aiming to give a wooden touch that reflected the material of the retablos.

​

As game developer, I contributed to implementing buttons, their functionality, and screen navigation, as well as integrating the cinematics.
