LACALACAL

​LACALACAL is a game with a surreal weirdcore aesthetic where players control Calaquito, a skeleton who uses robbed souls that endlessly repeat the last moments of their actions to solve puzzles

My contribution

​As game designer, I actively contributed during brainstorming sessions and collaborated on designing the core mechanics and game rules. I also worked closely with the art team to align the narrative premise with a dark yet playful aesthetic, supporting the artistic direction they wanted to explore.

As level designer, I created five introductory puzzle levels that taught players how to play while gradually introducing challenges. Each level was designed to guide the player’s learning experience and present engaging obstacles that reinforced the game’s core mechanics.
